Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is one of the more serious forms of RSI (Repetitive Stress Injury).

It occurs frequently in occupations which place high demand on the wrist-hand system.

Bending of the wrist up or down causes the finger flexor tendons to rub on adjacent surfaces of the carpal tunnel.

To help prevent carpal tunnel syndrome, the posture of the wrist should be kept in line with the hand to prevent pinching in the carpal tunnel.
